Studying in North Carolina
North Carolina’s public university system produces cutting-edge research while educating nearly 250,000 students each year. The diverse universities offer degrees in a wide range of subjects. From large research universities to smaller undergraduate-focused institutions, you can find the right university for your needs in the UNC System. Find out more about each campus from the profiles on the UNC System website.
Please be aware that exchange study is not possible at the UNC School of the Arts and North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Likewise, because the BW/NC Program operates on an exchange basis, placement at some universities may be highly competitive or not possible depending on the number of available exchange slots in a given year.
